Cats get over line with the Lions
BRISBANE gave Geelong (and it's fans) the fright of its life before the premier rallied in the final quarter for a 27-point win in the AFL match at Skilled Stadium today.
Without late withdrawals Jonathan Brown and Brownlow Medallist Simon Black, the Lions still matched the competition benchmark throughout before the Cats' class and depth eventually told 15.15 (105) to 11.12 (78).

Fremantle's rough tactics Rumble Gary Ablett
GEELONG forward Cam Mooney said protecting Cats' superstar Gary Ablett from opposition roughhouse tactics has become a major focus for the team each week.
Ablett was targeted and constantly niggled off the ball by Fremantle pair Ryan Crowley and Josh Carr from the opening bounce in Friday night's one-point thriller at Subiaco.
