This week – Geelong Cats vs Essendon

Hi Cats Fans,

A very tough outing against a strong Suns last week. The Cats seemed to have the best of the contest early, but turnovers and inconsistency was too much in the end. Great to see Shane Kersten’s debut being such a successful outing, and we look forward to more games from him to come.

This week’s game is a Friday night clash against the Bombers. This will be Paul Chapman’s first clash against his old side. Hopefully the Cats’ strategy and a four quarter effort will get the points this week.

Our backline will hopefully be boosted with the return of Harry Taylor, should he be fit to play. But as per normal, the game should be won and lost through the better team’s defense.

Chris Scott has been vocal, suggesting that other teams write off the Cats at their own peril. And I agree. Our road record is poor, but we are still every chance for a top four result.

Our ticket raffle is continuing all season long so get in and get your chance to win some memorabilia valued at over $2000!
