Perth Cats News: Season 2016 – NEW VENUE

Hello Everyone,

A belated happy new year to all with 2016 shaping to be a much better season for the Cats than 2015 with some gun recruits, growing youngsters and a nicer draw.

We are pleased to announce that the Perth Cats will be moving to a new venue in 2016 and that venue is THE GAME SPORTS BAR in Northbridge, at the site of the old Aberdeen Hotel. The Game will be providing us with our own bar in which to watch every game on a massive screen, 20% drinks discount for those in Cats’ gear or have a Cats’ membership card as well as having a kitchen, TAB facilities and is kid friendly. Unfortunately parking will have to be paid for, but hopefully a more central location closer to trains and buses will mean a lot more of you can come into the CBD and cheer on the boys. A link showing all parking areas and their prices can be found here with most around $10-$12 for 3 hours.

A massive thank you to Gareth and the staff at OPs Tavern for welcoming us since Grand Final Day 2011 with some great service over the years; but a change in their operating hours means we have had to find a new home.

With the Geelong Cats visiting Perth next month for the NAB Challenge, we are working with the club to have a big day for fans interacting with the players and will have more exciting news as it comes to hand. Furthermore, The Perth Cats are celebrating 25 years in 2016, so we hope our milestone year is memorable in more ways than one!  STAY TUNED!

GO CATS!

Dennis Gedling – 2016 President.
